Judging and Winning Criteria
The winners will be selected based on performance against five key measures: effectiveness of game-play dynamics, durability, playability, ease of construction, and effective cost. Ratings will be provided from two separate groups with the final blended score determining the ultimate winners.
- An expert-judging panel with one representative each from neuroscience, education, and educational gaming. They will narrow down the submission pool into the top contenders which will then move to a student voting phase.
- Under Silvia Bunge and Bill Ritchie's supervision and guidance, students in one or more elementary school classrooms will construct and play the top-rated game submissions and will provide their input.
