See What Others are Making
Congratulations you’re raising a junior engineer!
Like most junior engineer parents you’re probably looking for something to get your creative kid’s gears moving, something to let the imagination flow.
Maker Studio is a new kind of construction toy—free-form and open-minded to help stimulate your little Maker’s creativity.
We supply all the engineering parts—gears, wheels and frames. It’s up to your Maker to supply the creativity and custom machine body. We suggest looking in the recycling bin for your supplies. Or get more creative! Kids have unlimited imagination, so the fun never stops!
The HatchEDU contest was part of a program that David Yakos and ThinkFun put together for 50 creative engineering students across Montana. We donated Maker Studio kits to the workshop and David founds students who said they would engineer a cool build and post what they did along with explanation of how they did it, onto instructables.com The winners were awarded $1200 of prize money, divided across three prizes.
Check out the winners of our #KidsMakeIt challenge below! They'll each take home 3D printer filament and six of ThinkFun's latest and greatest games for their ingenuity! Click the 'subscribe' button at the top to stay up to date on more contests, content, and chances to win great prizes!
