Dr. Toy’s 100 Best Picks Children’s Products for 2011 Features Cartoon It! from ThinkFun
Dr. Toy recently released her picks for the 100 Best Children’s Products for 2011. Among the fantastic products selected is ThinkFun’s newest game, Cartoon It!

Dr. Toy, a.k.a Stevanne Auerbach, releases this list each year to “encourage parents and teachers to focus on the value of play as essential to the learning process.”
PathWords Named 2012 Game of the Year by Games Magazine
As part of their annual Buyer’s Guide, Games Magazine recently unveiled their 2012 Game of the Year Awards!
Among these winners is PathWords, ThinkFun’s innovative new word search logic game! This single player challenge was honored with the Best New Word Game award.

TILT makes the National Association for Gifted Children’s (NAGC) 2011 Recommended Toy List!
ThinkFun's new logic game TILT has been recognized by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) and is on their 2011 Recommended Toy List!
The goal of the Recommended Toy List is to help parents and teachers find products that entertain and teach their gifted children.

Andrea Barthello and Bill Ritchie, the founders of Alexandria-based ThinkFun toy company, met in 1984 while working at a now-defunct real estate firm in Northern Virginia.
Not much fun in that.
Barthello and Ritchie started dating and married within a year and soon after launched a start-up company from their basement called Binary Arts. Their first product line consisted of four mechanical puzzle games invented by a family friend, William Keister.
